Elementary Standard Arabic Conversation II

This course is designed to allow students to use the grammar and vocabulary acquired in the first two semesters in dealing with specific social situations. Continued improvement of conversational, reading, and writing abilities and expansion of vocabulary.

Increased mastery of the four language skills, with emphasis on reading and translation using materials from literary classical and modern Arabic. The course includes a study of some parts of the Koran. Typically offered Fall Spring.
