This course provides an integrated approach to the physiology, pathophysiology, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and pharmacotherapeutics of infectious diseases. It covers a vast array of microbiological pathogens, including bacteria, fungi, viruses, mycobacteria, parasites, protozoa and malaria.
