This course will provide students with knowledge and skills related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and provide students an opportunity to actively increase their cultural competence to help them work with others effectively in professional settings. The course provides frameworks, terminology, and tools for engaging in productive conversations around difficult topics related to DEI. Students use critical and reflective thinking, as well as effective problem solving to create inclusive experiences for all stakeholders.
