Intermediate course in analysis options for biological and ecological data. Topics include: univariate, multivariate, parametric and non-parametric analysis and their basis; advanced graphical techniques; basic mapping with and without geographical information systems; simulation modeling; associated coding for open source platforms. A previous graduate-level course in statistics is required. Working knowledge of ANOVA, t-tests, linear regression, and assumptions and distributions of test statistics for these is assumed. Typically offered Spring.
