This course is an examination of diverse individual, family, and community characteristics and issues, and potential impacts on teaching and learning processes. Includes service learning with human service agencies and personnel in the school and community. As part of this course, students complete certification to meet the Indiana Department of Education suicide prevention training requirement for teacher licensure.
