This course introduces the fundamentals of the Apparel industry, design, and assembly through lectures, discussions, readings and application in an Apparel laboratory. The student will learn the proper operation of industrial garment production equipment. Further, the course will introduce the manufacturing standards of apparel assembly through garment construction, principles of fit and fiber, and fabric performance. Typically offered Fall.
